Using our program and the metrics outlined in the previous chapter we can now analyze how effectively the algorithm can be applied. In this chapter we analyze three sets of results. Our first analysis will be of the visual appearance of the test meshes compared to their corresponding simplified meshes. The second analysis will be of the numerical results obtained from the Metro[#!metro!#] tool. The third analysis will compare the performance of our algorithm among different computing platforms. The final analysis will be of the computational complexity of our algorithm.
